3. eligibility

5. no emergency service guarantee

If the patient is experiencing chest pain, breathing difficulty, unconsciousness, severe bleeding, stroke symptoms, seizures, or any medical emergency, please immediately contact the nearest hospital, ambulance provider, or local emergency services.

6. enquiries, assessments, and bookings

When you submit an enquiry or booking request:
- you agree to provide accurate and complete information
- we may contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS, or email
- an enquiry does not automatically confirm a booking
- service may begin only after assessment, confirmation, staff availability, and other required formalities
- we may request additional documents, discharge summaries, prescriptions, or care instructions if relevant

Kronikare reserves the right to accept, decline, postpone, modify, or discontinue any enquiry or booking request where required for safety, operational, ethical, or legal reasons.

7. patient information and consent

You are responsible for sharing correct, complete, and timely information about the patient’s condition, medical history, medications, risks, allergies, mobility issues, infection status, behavioral concerns, and relevant care requirements.

You agree that:
- incomplete or inaccurate information may affect care planning and service suitability
- you will inform us promptly of any change in the patient’s condition
- you will obtain any family, guardian, or legal consent required for care decisions
- you will cooperate with reasonable verification, intake, and assessment procedures.

8. service limitations

Our role may vary depending on the service booked. Kronikare may provide caregiving, nursing support, monitoring, assistance with daily living, palliative support, and coordination-based services within the agreed scope.

Unless specifically agreed in writing, our services do not include:
- hospital admission
- ambulance transport
- invasive procedures beyond approved scope
- guaranteed doctor availability at all times
- guaranteed cure, recovery, or medical outcome
- medication prescription without authorized medical supervision
- services outside the booked package or agreed care scope.

9. fees, pricing, and payment

Service charges, package rates, visit fees, nursing fees, caregiver charges, and any additional costs will be communicated separately or at the time of booking.

By booking a service, you agree to:
- pay applicable fees, taxes, and charges on time
- bear any extra cost for add-on services, emergency visits, consumables, equipment, or extension of service, where applicable
- make payment through approved modes only
- not withhold payment for services already rendered unless there is a genuine billing dispute raised promptly.

We may suspend, delay, or decline services in case of non-payment, delayed payment, suspicious transactions, or billing disputes requiring clarification.

10. cancellation, rescheduling, and refunds

Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible through our official contact channels.

General rule:
- confirmed bookings may be rescheduled subject to staffing and availability
- same-day cancellations may attract charges if staff allocation, travel, scheduling, or resource blocking has already occurred
- completed visits, partially rendered services, consumables used, and non-refundable third-party costs may not be refundable
- refunds, where approved, will be processed within a reasonable time through the original or an appropriate payment mode.

Where a package or long-term care plan is involved, separate commercial terms may apply.

11. caregiver, nurse, and staff allocation

Kronikare will make reasonable efforts to assign suitable personnel based on patient needs and service scope. However:
- exact staff preference cannot always be guaranteed
- replacements may be made due to leave, emergency, performance, safety, or operational reasons
- staff assignment remains at our discretion
- service continuity may depend on cooperation, environment, and safety conditions at the service location

12. responsibilities of patient, family, and household

You agree to:
- provide a reasonably safe, hygienic, and accessible environment for service delivery
- treat our staff with dignity and respect
- not engage in abusive, discriminatory, violent, harassing, unsafe, or unlawful conduct
- keep valuables, cash, medicines, and sensitive documents appropriately secured
- provide necessary supplies, prescriptions, medical devices, and patient essentials unless otherwise agreed
- ensure that any doctor instructions relevant to care are shared clearly

We may suspend or terminate services if staff safety is at risk or if the service environment becomes unsuitable.

13. medicines, medical decisions, and outcomes

Kronikare and its staff rely on the information, prescriptions, discharge papers, and instructions made available by the patient, family, and treating doctors.

Unless specifically authorized and professionally qualified to do so, our caregivers do not independently prescribe medicines or make major clinical decisions. Any medical treatment decision should be taken in consultation with a licensed medical practitioner.

We do not guarantee cure, recovery speed, prevention of complications, or any particular medical result.

14. communication consent

By contacting us or submitting your details, you consent to receiving calls, SMS, WhatsApp messages, and emails from Kronikare for enquiry handling, booking updates, care coordination, payment reminders, service feedback, and related support.

15. privacy

Your use of the website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

16. intellectual property
